If there’s a fashion trend that makes it acceptable for me to be as comfy as possible, I will follow it. I’m talking “athleisure” (did someone say leggings and sweatshirts? What was that- I can wear my gym clothes to the shops?) and the recurring theme of pyjama style shirts, dresses and trousers.
Now, I’m a master at loose leg trousers and harem pants, and one day I’ll be brave enough to wear slip dresses (is that pyjamas or underwear as outerwear?). Today I tried something new- a pyjama shirt.
I bought this long before it was a thing- I stupidly thought this was a proper shirt, bought it, got it home, only to be told that it was for sleeping!
I wore my black and white, floral, Topshop pyjama shirt with Topshop Jamie jeans, Superga trainers and my Zara faux fur. I also wore a simple black bag (I’m sorry I can’t remember where from!) and my Primark hat.
Tips for wearing pyjamas outside: don’t spend a fortune on clothes that look like pyjamas- just don’t bother getting dressed in the morning! Next I think I will wear slippers for a day…
Till next time…
